Enugu, a south eastern state in Nigeria was created in 1991 from the Old
Anambra state. The name Enu-ugwu means (On top of the hill) it is known
as the oldest urban area in Igbo land, with about 7,161 km2 (2,765 sq
m) and is the 29th largest state in Nigeria, it borders with
Abia state and Imo state in the south, Ebonyi state to the East, Benue
state to the Northeast, Kogi state to the Northwest and Anambra state to
the West.

1. Ezeagu Waterfall:
The complex is located at the south central part of the State. It is made up of a waterfall, a three kilometer cave, natural spring and a lake. The complex has a unique beautification due to its natura
l setting.
Visitors/tourist are advised to walk slowly and to wear light dresses. The site can be accessed through Enugu/ Onitsha express way about 20 kilometer drive from Enugu city turning right into Obunifia- ndino.
2: Ngwo Cave and Waterfall
The Ngwo (Udi LGA) Cave and Waterfall are located at the Ngwo Pine Forest where a heavy waterfall descends from overhead limestone rocks. The waterfall forms a shallow pool at the cave floor before flowing out as a stream into the wild. Apart from the waterfall, there are several caves that are tucked away into the rock, and you can access some of them by climbing while some are easily within reach
3: Silicon Hill
The Silicon Hill is one of the highest points in Enugu state. Standing at an imposing 300 metres above sea level, the hill is almost half a kilometre long. The hill is referred to as Silicon hill as a result of its major component: silica, an important raw material for the manufacture of glasses. Tourists and fun seekers can go on a climbing adventure to experience the breath-taking views of the coal city from the hill’s summit. Students can also go excursion to see, touch and experience the wonder of nature on the hill.
